Refund Policy

↩️ Cancellation & Refund Policy: Yai2u Technologies

At Yai2u Technologies, we strive to deliver exceptional software engineering and development services. Because software development requires significant allocation of specialized resources, time, and human capital from the very beginning of a project, we enforce a strict but fair refund policy.

By engaging with us and initiating a project, you agree to the following terms regarding cancellations and refunds:

1. Milestone 1: Project Initiation (The 30% Advance)

The initial 30% advance payment is required to secure development infrastructure, assign dedicated engineers, and finalize project blueprints.

Non-Refundable Status: Once project onboarding begins and design/development work commences, this 30% advance payment is entirely non-refundable.

Exception: If a client requests a cancellation in writing within 48 hours of making the payment, and absolutely no work or resource allocation has started, a partial refund may be issued at the sole discretion of management, minus any transaction gateway fees.

2. Milestone 2: Mid-Project Phase (The 30% Midway Payment)

The second 30% payment is due upon reaching the 50% completion milestone (e.g., presentation of a working demo, prototype, or core architecture).

Once a milestone is reviewed, approved, and this milestone payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any previous or current phase payments.

If the client decides to terminate the project during this phase before making the second payment, Yai2u Technologies will halt all work. The initial 30% deposit will be forfeited, and the client will not receive any project files or source code.

3. Milestone 3: Project Completion (The 40% Final Payment)

The final 40% payment is due upon 100% completion of the project, including successful testing and quality assurance.

Once final project assets, source code, and deployment packages are handed over to the client, absolutely no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

4. Project Cancellation Process

If either party wishes to terminate the contract, the following process must be followed:

A formal written notice must be submitted via email to your assigned project manager or to support@yai2u.com.

Upon cancellation, Yai2u Technologies retains full intellectual property rights, source code, and design ownership for all work completed up to that date. No code or design assets will be transferred to the client for an incomplete, canceled project unless a specific buyout agreement is reached.

5. Client Delay & Project Abandonment

If a project is paused or delayed by the client due to a lack of feedback, missing assets, or delayed approvals for more than 30 consecutive calendar days, the project will be marked as "On Hold."

If a project remains on hold for more than 60 calendar days without prior written agreement, it will be considered Abandoned. Abandoned projects are automatically terminated, all previous payments are forfeited, and a restart fee may apply if the client wishes to resume the project later.
